Motorcycle GPS
A motorcycle GPS is very similar to a car GPS except it provides some different features to make it compatible with a motorcycle. For example, the mounting systems are generally different. Car GPS systems have screens which are designed to be seen in the dim interior of a car. A motorcycle GPS will often be viewed in direct sunlight and so the screen needs to be a better quality. Similarly it needs to be more dust, water, and vibration proof.
Some motorcycle riders wonder if it is possible to use a regular car GPS on their bike. The answer is no. A car GPS is not built to withstand the punishment that a motorcycle GPS can handle.
Our favourite range of motorcycle GPS's is the Garmin Zumo series. They have an excellent mounting system and are durable. It's a must for any motorcyclist and many have remarked they would feel naked without their Zumo.
